Radio Controlled - This Braun Clock is set and controlled automatically by DCF Radio Controlled signal for Central European Time Zone. (This covers most of Central and Western Europe, including Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Northern Italy, etc). Not suitable for use in the UK or Ireland. The radio controlled function can be switched off and the clock can be manually set for use in those countries where the radio controlled signal cannot be registered by the clock. Projection - The projection can be activated when the power adaptor is used. This can be set to remain active permanently. There is a rotate option to ensure the projection is oriented correctly. Crescendo beep alarm - The beep alarm gets more frequent and louder if you do not turn it off. Snooze / backlight function (Snooze interval is 5 minutes) Negative LCD display with 12 hour / 24 hour setting option. *the digital display may vary in contrast depending on room lighting. The backlight can stay on permanently if used with the power adaptor which is INCLUDED. There are four customisable levels of display brightness. Battery: This Clock requires 3 x AA batteries to operate however these is NOT INCLUDED. Power adaptor: This clock does not require a power adaptor to operate the display, however, using a power adaptor will allow the backlight to stay on permanently and enable the projection feature to operate. A power adaptor is INCLUDED.
