OUR HISTORY: One of the most emblematic football clubs in Madrid and Spain, Getafe ranks among the top 25 in all-time La Liga table. Although it was re-founded in the 80s, the sports association dates from 1946, where Club Getafe Deportivo were supported by 700 members. After a time of promoting, demoting and hardship, Getafe finally consolidated an experienced squad and took their place together with the greatest. OUR GREATEST SUCCESSES: Getafe Club de Fútbol were the 58th team to join First Division, taking part for the first time in 2004-05 season. Since the 2019-20 season, they’ve been ranked 23th in all-time First Division Table. The team won a second division national championship in 1998-99 and were runners-up in Copa del Rey twice (2006-07 and 2007-08). OUR SCOPE: Getafe are not just the football team we see in First Division. Getafe are all the boys and girls who live every part of the team: Youth Academy, the LaLiga Genuine team and the women's football team. In addition, Getafe are also their Getafe FC Foundation, which performs social tasks and projects representing the club's values. Examples include the Women’s Forum, the Reading Group and the Drawing Contest.
